New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology-Bhubaneswar (IIT-Bhubaneswar) celebrated the 72nd Republic Day in the Institute following all COVID-19 restrictions on Tuesday.
The staff, faculty and students took part in the celebrations that culminated with the playing and recital of the national anthem.
The function kicked off with unfurling of the tricolour followed by a review of the parade by IIT Bhubaneswar director Professor RV Raja Kumar.
Professor Raja Kumar urged everyone to uphold the core values that were the foundation for the Indian constitution in the governance, functioning at the workplace as well as in day to day life, reported NDTV.
Dean of Alumni Affairs and International Relations Professor RK Panda, Dean of Research and Development Professor Sujit Roy, Dean of Student Affairs Dr VR Pedireddi, Dean of Academic Affairs Dr PR Sahu, Registrar Col Subodh Kumar, Joint Registrar Shri Debaraj Rath and President, Student Gymkhana of IIT Bhubaneswar Dr Sankarsan Mahapatro were also present during the event.
