New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Director, V Ramgopal has announced the total number of seats available in IITs in India.
The announcement came after IIT-Delhi declared the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 on Monday.
V Ramgopal took to Twitter and wrote, “This year there are a total of 16053 seats in 23 IITs for JEE Advanced candidates.”
According to the JEE Advanced Result, a total of 36,497 male and 6,707 women students have cleared the examination.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 counselling process is going to start today, October 6. The process will be held for admissions to the IITs, NITs, IIISc and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
