New Delhi: Agilent Technologies has honoured Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi scientist Professor Anurag Rathore with an Agilent Thought Leader Award on Monday. Professor Rathore was recognised for his contributions to the field of biopharma research and his work with advanced methods for molecular characterisation of biosimilars, according to IIT Delhi Alumni Association.
“IITDAA is proud to share this news that Prof. Anurag Rathore, IIT Delhi Alum, 1994, B.Tech, CH, Jwala, a scientist has won the Agilent Thought Leader Award for his contributions to the field of biopharmaceutical research and his work with advanced methods for molecular characterization of biosimilars,” the alumni body wrote on its website.
A professor at IIT Delhi’s chemical engineering department, Rathore is the first Indian researcher to get this coveted award.
“I feel humbled to be chosen for the Agilent Thought Leader Award. As one of the many researchers at IIT Delhi working in the new COVID-19 normal, this is an encouraging and welcome event. The award will propel me to work harder as we strive to bring the technologies and products we have been working on to the market,” Professor Rathore was quoted as saying by the website.
The alumni association also tweeted the researcher’s achievement.
