IIT Delhi has the highest number of alumni featured in the Hurun U35 List 2026, with 11 young entrepreneurs.
The list highlights the educational backgrounds of young entrepreneurs in the 34-35 age group, with several Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) featuring prominently in the ranking.
IIT Kharagpur ranks second with 10 alumni, while IIT Madras and Delhi University share third place with seven alumni each.
IIT Roorkee and IIT Bombay have six alumni each on the list. IIT Bombay’s position in the institutional ranking reportedly declined by three places compared with the previous year.
The postgraduate rankings place IIT Madras and the Indian School of Business (ISB) jointly at the top, with five alumni each.
IIT Bombay has four alumni in the postgraduate category, while IIT Kharagpur has three. Harvard Business School, University of Michigan, IIT Kanpur and Stanford University have two alumni each.
