Indore: The applications have been invited by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore to its newly introduced MTech programmes in Electric Vehicle Technology, Space Engineering and MS (research) in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering.

The two-year MTech In Electric Vehicle Technology will offer students the opportunity to gather industry experience all through the second year. Eligibility criteria include a four-year or five-year integrated degree with a first division in mechanical, electrical, electronics and communication, automobile, instrumentation and control, electronics or instrumentation or production or mechatronics engineering. Candidates must have a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. The deadline to apply is June 15.
One of the semesters of the two-year master’s in Space Science programme will include coursework while the rest of the semesters will be devoted to thesis work. Candidates are required to have a four-year bachelor’s degree (BE or BTech), or a two-year or five-year integrated master’s degree (MSc or MTech or ME) with a first-class rank. A valid GATE score has also been made mandatory.
The two-year dual degree In Space Science and Engineering will see a course curriculum that includes coursework for the first two semesters and practical industry experience for the remaining two semesters. The candidates interested must have a four-year bachelor’s degree or five-year integrated degree in Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Engineering Physics or Aerospace, or MSc in Physics, Electronics, Atmospheric science with a first division rank.
