New Delhi: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 registration, which was scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 11, has now been postponed, the organising institute IIT-Kharagpur announced late on Friday evening.
The process has been postponed owing to a delay in the publication of JEE Main 2021 session 4 results, IIT-Kharagpur said.
“Due to delay in publication of JEE Main 2021 results, the already announced date of registration for JEE Advanced 2021 stands postponed,” a message on the JEE Advanced 2021 website, jeeadv.ac.in, read.
The JEE Advanced is the entrance exam for admission to some of the top engineering colleges in India, including the IITs. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates of the JEE Main can appear for the exam.
The deadline to register for JEE Advanced 2021 is September 19 and the last date to pay the fees is September 20.
