Kolkata: IIT-Kharagpur’s Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (CoEAMT) has organised as many as 14 webinars of “Saturday Manufacturing Talks” during the COVID crisis across the country. The last session that was held recently kicked off with CoEAMT chairperson, Prof Surjya K Pal’s introductory remarks.
IIT Kharagpur director, Prof VK Tewari has stressed the importance of the event to the audience with his insightful speech on the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – a celebration to commemorate completion of 75 years of India’s Independence”.
“It is our great pleasure to share that Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology @IITKgp has successfully conducted 14 webinars of “Saturday Manufacturing Talks” so far,” IIT-Kharagpur tweeted.
“This year-long mega event is being conducted under the aegis of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”- a celebration to commemorate the completion of 75 years of India’s independence. Impactful lectures have been held on different aspects of Manufacturing,” it added.
The weekly mega webinar series that commenced on March 13 is open to all interested participants across the globe since its inception. The webinars are being recorded.
