Chennai: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has scored a hattrick after finishing numero uno for the third consecutive time in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The institute emerged as the undisputed leader in Indian education.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan virtually announced the NIRF 2021 rankings on Thursday, September 9.
“We are delighted to maintain our pre-eminent position in the NIRF rankings yet again. IIT Madras continues to excel in teaching, research, and innovation, and has launched several new initiatives to implement the NEP,” IIT-Madras director Bhaskar Ramamurthi, was quoted as saying by ABP Education.
The director also congratulated students, faculty members and other employees for their hard work to achieve the milestone.
