Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras launched two new diploma programmes on October 4 – Diploma in Data Science and Diploma in Programming. Both have been designed by leading experts in the field.
The diplomas are open to students, working professionals, and job seekers who have completed at least two years of undergraduate education in any discipline through any mode.
The diploma entry qualifier exam is scheduled for December 12, 2021. Learners need not have an engineering or computer science background. Applicants have to take the Diploma Qualifier Exam at an exam centre in their city of choice. Those who clear the exam will be eligible to join the diploma programme.
The applications are opening on October 10 and the last date to apply is November 15, 2021. Interested candidates can apply through https://diploma.iitm.ac.in.
