New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna has invited applications for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a temporary assignment.

Qualifications
Candidate must be GATE qualified and M.Tech. in Structural Engineering or in similar specializations such as earthquake engineering, structural dynamics. Or he/she should desirably have M.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering (or in relevant area) with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 % of marks. The candidate should have strong hold in subject area such as Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, FEM, Numerical Methods and Probability Theory along with good proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Experience
Strong background in MTLAB, Python, ABAQUS, SAP2000. Experience of doing research work, preferably with publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conference.
Age limit
Upper age limit for the JRF position is 35 years.
