India Postal Jobs 2019: Submission Of Application Date Extended

In a major relief for the candidates interested in applying for Gramin Dak Sevak Posts, India Post has extended yet again the date of submission of online application.

As per the latest bulletin, submission of online application has been extended up to September 22 in Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala and Punjab postal circles and up to September 29 for the Assam circle. 

The recruitment is being carried out to fill up 10,066 GDS vacancies in the above-mentioned circles.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

·       Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard passing marks in Mathematics and English (having studied it as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognised Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India, shall be mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.

·       The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard (as compulsory or elective subjects) as declared by the respective State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India.

Age Limit for the Gramin Dak Sevak posts: 18 to 40 years.

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of automated generate merit list.
