Indian Railways To Operate Special Trains For RRB-NTPC Exams On May 9 & 10

New Delhi: Indian Railways will run more than 65 special trains on May 9 and 10 for the benefit of RRB NTPC exam candidates.

“Indian Railways will run more than 65 special trains across the country for the candidates of RRB_NTPC exam to be held on 9th and 10th May,” Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeted (in Hindi).

Many candidates had raised the issue of RRB-NTPC exam centres being far away from their home towns, PTI reported. Hence, Indian Railways decided to run special trains across the country.

Most of these trains will run on May 8 to help candidates reach their exam centres in the morning and then ferry them home post exams.

No concessions will be offered to students, who will have to pay fares of special trains.

The Railway Recruitment Board’s Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB-NTPC) exam is a computer based test (CBT 2) 2022 for pay levels 4 and 6.
