Indian Students Wary Of Confirming Admission To Foreign Universities

Admissions of Indian students to foreign universities like Stanford and Cambridge have been hit due to coronavirus. Many students are postponing confirmation of their admissions to these coveted universities.

India is the second in the world when it comes to sending its students to study abroad. However, this time around, candidates are not even sure when the campuses will open in the new academic year. Students are sending out requests seeking extension of fee payment deadlines.

The USA has asked its schools to be flexible with international students. The Student and Exchange Visitor Programme released an advisory on Tuesday for educational institutes seeking information on whether a campus is temporarily shut or instructions are being given at an alternative campus or have moved online.
