Minor Sells Squirt Of Sanitiser For 50 Pence, Gets Suspended From School

Leeds: At a time when COVID-19 fear has gripped the entire world, some hardhearted people are leaving no stone unturned to capitalise on people’s fear.

Highlighting the lack of moral values in Gen-X, a 13-year old boy was caught selling a squirt of hand sanitiser for 50 pence to his classmates who were afraid of the coronavirus attack.

The minor, Oliver Cooper, a resident of Leeds, managed to amass £7.40 by charging his classmates for a sqiurt of the hand sanitiser.

According to reports, the boy used the money that he raised to buy some kebabs and Doritos for dinner.

When the school management came to know about Oliver’s selfish act, they suspended him.

However, Oliver’s parents were not displeased with his act. While his father said that he was a legend, his mother requested everyone not to punish her son.

Besides Oliver, there are many others who are taking advantage of the fear stricken people. Shopkeepers are selling face masks and sanitisers at higher rates, people are posing as fake health officials and offering a cure for the disease, and cyber criminals are spreading fake news about the virus and threatening people.
