New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has granted candidates the use of calculators during the ISC Term 1 Exam 2021. The CISCE has allowed all the Class XII candidates to use scientific calculators for the semester 1 examination for the 2021-22 academic year.
“This is with reference to the conduct of the ISC (Class XII) Year 2021-2022 Semester 1 examination. This is to confirm that the candidates are permitted to use Casio fx- 82 MS (Scientific Calculator) or calculators of other makes with similar functions,” read the notice released by the Council.
The ISC Semester 1 exams began on November 22 and will continue till December 20. Students will be allowed 10 minutes time to read the question paper. Accordingly, the question paper cum answer booklet will be given at 1.50 pm for the semester exam to be held in MCQ format.
It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the Semester I exam in November-December 2021 and the Semester 2 exam in March-April 2022. They need to take both exams to qualify for the certificate.
