ISRO To Conduct Walk-in-interview For 220 Apprentice Posts

The walk-in-interview will be conducted on different dates for Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentices.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released official notification inviting applications from candidates for 220 Apprentices posts in various disciplines for ISRO Propulsion Complex. Candidates who want to apply for the post can visit the official site of ISRO Propulsion Complex at iprc.gov.in. The walk-in-interview will be conducted on different dates for Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentices. The period of training will be for one year.

Vacancy Details

  • Graduate Apprentice: 41 Posts
  • Technician Apprentice: 59 Posts
  • Trade Apprentice: 120 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate Apprentice: Candidates should have first-class Engineering/ Technology Degree in the respective disciplines.
  • Apprentice: Candidates who want to apply for the post should have a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in the respective disciplines with first class.
  • Trade Apprentice: Candidates should have passed SSLC + ITI in respective Trade from NCVT with NTC.

Age Limit

  • Graduate Apprentice – 35 years as on 14.12.2019
  • Technician Apprentice – 35 years as on 21.12.2019
  • Trade Apprentice – 35 years as on 04.01.2020
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC candidates (3 years)
  • Persons with Disabilities are also eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

As per the official notification, the selection of candidates will be done purely on the basis of the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying exam as entered by the candidates in the application form.

Date of Interview

  • Graduate Apprentice: December 14, 2019
  • Technician Apprentice: December 21, 2019
  • Trade Apprentice: January 04, 2020

How to Apply

  • Applicants to visit the Careers page of IPRC website: iprc.gov.in and download the application form.
  • The applicants have to fill the form and attach self-attested copies of required certificates.
  • The applicants have to carry the filled form along with originals and copies of the certificates in person to ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu on the date and time for submitting the application.
  • Applications will be received through off-line mode only, through walk-in-interview as scheduled according to the trades.

Other Conditions

Candidates who have acquired Diploma / Graduation in Engineering in the years 2017, 2018, 2019 will alone be eligible to apply for training positions of Technician and Graduate Apprenticeship. For more related details, candidates can check the official site of ISRO.
