New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia University on Wednesday said that it will conduct written exams for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.
The University in an official notice said, “Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will admit students in various programs of the university for the session 2020-21 on the basis of the written test. The decision was taken in an important online extraordinary meeting of the Executive Council (EC), the highest decision-making body of the university on 15th September (Tuesday). Mode of test and other modalities will be finalized and declared in due course of time.”
In the Executive Council (EC) meeting held on Tuesday, the varsity decided to conduct the entrance exam for admissions.
The EC said that students will be allowed to deposit the university and school fees in two instalments during the tough coronavirus pandemic.
But the students have to submit the total fee ahead of the issuance of admit card for the annual/semester/board examination.
