NEW DELHI: The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched the admission process for various distance and online mode programmes.
The JMI has released its prospectus for the 2025–26 academic session and eligible candidates can register on the official website, jmi.ucanapply.com.
Last week, the university released the prospectus by Vice-Chancellor Prof Mazhar Asif and Registrar Prof Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi, in the presence of CDOE Dean Prof M Moshahid Alam Rizvi and members of the Prospectus Committee, as per the official notice.

This year, the centre’s admission cycle includes postgraduate degrees in Hindi, Urdu, English, Education, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Commerce, MBA, and MA in Human Resource Management.
Undergraduate programmes include BEd, BA, BCom, BBA and BCIBF. CDOE also offers postgraduate diplomas in Guidance and Counselling and Geoinformatics, alongside advanced diplomas in seven specialised areas, namely — Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Public Policy and Governance, International Relations and Global Governance, Educational Media Production, Mass Media in Hindi, Mass Media in Urdu, and Taxation.
Two new certificate programmes—Information Technology and Computer Hardware and Network Technology—have been introduced this year.
Prospective applicants can access the detailed prospectus and online application forms through the JMI Controller of Examinations website at jmicoe.in.
Applications for non-entrance test programmes are open until 31 August 2025.
For MBA and B.Ed., which require entrance tests, the last date to apply is August 21, 2025.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif suggested that the centre expand its learner support base across the country and increase enrolment in line with the National Education Policy. “The aim should be to reach learners in all regions,” he said, highlighting the importance of widening access.
