New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia Central University has begun a week-long ‘Online Summer School on Job Readiness’ to prepare its students for the job market amid the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the pandemic, job opportunities are declining faster with many having already lost their jobs.
Anees Khan, Global Business Head, WIPRO Ltd inaugurated the session which started on July 16.
Khan in his speech emphasised on the future skills required to survive the changing scenario of the global economy, job market as a result of coronavirus pandemic. He also spoke about the importance of data literacy for individuals and organisations.
The online classes are being conducted to help students find jobs and improve the employability of the students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The week-long session includes expert sessions on self-awareness, self-analysis, resume, goal setting, personality development, cracking interviews among other important topics.
