New Delhi: IIT-Kharagpur has decided to defer the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced 2021) in view of the rising COVID-19 cases across the country.
The JEE Advanced 2021 was slated to be conducted on July 3, which has now been postponed for the time being. Official notice regarding the same has been posted on the JEE Advanced site, jeeadv.ac.in.
The IIT-Kharagpur, the organising institute this year, will announce the revised dates in due course. “Considering the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time,” read the official notice.
