New Delhi: More than 45,000 candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2021 have opted to write the exam in regional languages. The JEE Main 2021 is being conducted in 13 Indian languages for the first time.
This year, the JEE Main 2021 is being held in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu, besides Hindi and English, reported ABP Education.
The first session of JEE Main 2021 commenced with the BArch and BPlanning exams on February 23, and is set to conclude on Friday, February 26, with the BTech papers.
A total of 6,61,776 students registered for all the papers of which 45,360 opted to write their papers in a vernacular language, according to the National Testing Agency.
