New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 aspirants to pick exam dates of their choice in May, the agency said via a statement.
This call to allow the candidates was taken to avoid a clash with the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) exam dates, reported ABP Education.
The CBSE biology exam on May 24 clashes with the final JEE Main window from May 24 to 28. Aspirants can enroll for the fourth window of JEE Main 2021 exams scheduled from May 3 to 12.
The students, during enrolment, will have to provide information on “whether they’re appearing for board exam on any of the dates” and subsequently select the date in their application to avoid any clash of schedule.
JEE Main 2021 will be held in four different sessions. Candidates are allowed to apply for any one session or for all sessions. The examination for the first session will be held on February 23, 24, 25 and 26, according to the revised rules and schedule issued by the NTA.
