JEE Main 2021 Topper From UP Wants To Attempt Exam Again; Know Why

Bhubaneswar: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main topper from Uttar Pradesh Pal Aggarwal, who scored 99.98 per cent marks, wants to appear for the exam again to score 100 percentile.

“I will now start my preparation for the JEE (Main) in a targeted manner and will focus on weaker areas. I also intend to focus more on the mock tests to enhance my skills. I am planning to skip the March attempt and will re-appear for the exam in April month,” Pal was quoted as saying by News18.

The 17-year-old girl has already got admission into the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. She cracked the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exam. Pal also wishes to crack the JEE Advanced.

“Since my childhood, I liked gazing at the stars and wanted to pursue my higher education in space science. Being a KVYP fellow, I am eligible for admission in IISc, Banglore but also considering to pursue aeronautical engineering from IIT-Bombay by cracking JEE Advanced with a good rank,” Pal was quoted by the website.

Pal studied for six to seven hours daily to prepare for the JEE Main after school and coaching classes. Ghaziabad resident Pal’s father is a businessman while her mother is a clinical psychologist.
