JEE Main Paper 1 Exam 2021: Mathematics Toughest, Say Students
Lucknow: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 aspirants who are seeking admission to BE and BTech programmes here said that mathematics paper was the toughest of the lot. The JEE Main 2021 began on Wednesday, February 23. The students also said that chemistry paper was moderate while physics was relatively easier.
“Mathematics was most difficult and was equally lengthy. Chemistry section was moderate while physics was quite easy for those who understood the concept well,” Prashant Yadav from neighbouring district Unnao was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Prashant, who is making his second attempt, welcomed the call of holding the JEE Main four times yearly as it reduces the stress factor among candidates. “It is a good move as candidates will get ample opportunities even if they have not fared well in first exam,” Prashant told the national daily.
Another student, Zoya Shammi felt that the chemistry paper was a tricky one. “Undoubtedly, Mathematics was most difficult. Chemistry was tricky but not time consuming. Physics was certainly very easy,” Zoya said.
According to her, COVID-19 protocol was followed strictly inside the examination hall but social distancing protocol was done away with when the candidates came out together from the same gate.
Shashwat Singh from Faizabad too was of the opinion that Mathematics was difficult. The chemistry was a little complicated but he could solve them. Physics was easy.
The JEE Main 2021 paper 1 (BE/ BTech) of 300 marks was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon.
