JEE-Main To Be Conducted Only In English, Hindi

New Delhi: The Nationa Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the JEE-Main Exam in English and Hindi only following the recommendation of the advisory committee.

As per news reports, NTA has decided to drop Gujrati as the medium of examination from 2021 onwards.

The JEE-Main advisory committee has recommended dropping Gujrati as the medium of the examination as the Gujarat Common Entrance Test is being preferred over JEE-Main in the State for admission of students to the technical institutes, reports said.

Earlier, Urdu and Marathi were dropped as the medium of examinations.

JEE Main is conducted twice a year for admission to engineering colleges across the country. It also acts as a screening test for candidates who wish to take IIT Advanced test for admission to the IITs.
