New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has decided to extend the campus curfew till 5 am on Monday, June 28.
JNU issued a circular on June 20 and said the COVID curfew has been extended, except for essential activities and services. This is an emergency measure for people’s well-being and safety.
Due to the prevailing situation and the Delhi government’s call for curfew, Dr BR Ambedkar Central Library will remain shut till further orders, according to the university.
All Group-A level officers and above are attending their offices on regular basis from Monday. For the rest of the staff of various schools, centres, departments of the university, only 50 per cent will be working.
The remaining 50 per cent will work from home. The other essential/emergency services shall be fully functional, the circular added.
