Bangalore: The Karnataka government has asked Christ College Bangalore to cancel ongoing intermediate online examinations keeping students’ health issue in mind amidst the raging coronavirus pandemic.
The State Higher Education Board has, in a letter to Christ College (deemed to be university), asked the college authorities to promote students on the basis of a grading system.
Christ College students have said they faced multiple technical issues while sitting for the online exams, India TV reported.
Recently, the University Grants Commission (UGC) issued guidelines to conduct final-year examinations via online, offline or mixed mode, which has attracted a lot of criticism from students and parents.
