Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) provided dry ration and study material to its 30000 students for the second time during the coronavirus pandemic, on Friday.
Earlier, the students were sent back to their homes in their respective villages due to the pandemic. Last month, they were provided flattened rice, sugar, dal, biscuits, soap, textbooks and study material at their doorsteps.
Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, who has always prioritised the education of tribal students, arranged for the study material and ration to be provided at the students’ doorsteps. This will be done every month until they return to the campus, said Dr. Samanta.
