Know The Toppers Who Scored Full Marks In CBSE Class XII Exams

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the Class 12 results. However the Board will not release the merit list this year.

One of the toppers is Divyanshi Jain of Lucknow, who scored 600 out of 600 marks in the exam.

Divyanshi, a student of Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School in Lucknow, appeared in all exams except Geography which was cancelled because of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Her father is a businessman and mother a homemaker.

She told Hindustan Times that she would like to pursue a career in history and has applied for admission in BA (H) History at Delhi University. She credits her teachers’ guidance for her impressive result.

Tushar Singh of Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr in the nation’s capital, scored 500/500. Tushar reportedly said that he did not go for private tuitions or coaching classes at all, but instead took help from school teachers whenever required. He, too, wishes to study History honours from Delhi University and become an IAS officer.

He scored 100 on 100 in all the papers but told India Today that CBSE shouldn’t be giving full marks in language papers such as English where “you cannot say that this answer is the best way to write it”.

He also revealed that he didn’t follow a strict routine and studied 7 hours a day. He also did not detach himself from social media. “I was on Instagram and social media all through the Board exams. I also used to watch TV at times for a break from studies,” he was quoted as saying.
