New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has extended the last date of application submission for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) till October 7.
The eligible candidates can visit the official website gate.iitb.ac.in and fill the form before the deadline.
GATE is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The GATE exam is for admission to M.Tech courses as well as jobs in the public sector undertaking (PSUs).
Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,500 per paper. The females and reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 750 fees.
This year, the examination will be computer-based and is scheduled to be held on February 6 to 7 and 12 to 14. The exam will be held for 27 subjects. The two new introductions being environmental science and engineering and humanities and social science.
