Bhubaneswar: Utkarsh Panda, a student of Mothers Public School in the capital city, has topped Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), 2021 in Odisha and secured All India Rank-53.
An elated Utkarsh credited his parents with the success for their constant support and the school which has stood by him even during the lockdown time due to COVID-19. “The teachers of the school were constantly in touch with me and cleared my doubts even during the lockdown when we could not attend school,” said Utkarsh.
“I started training for this entrance after joining Mothers Public School in Class XII. The school has a great programme and tie-up with Career Launcher provided me opportunities for specific CLAT coaching,” he said.
“I gave a lot of mocks throughout the year and worked on my weak points for the next mock to improve my scores,” he said.
CLAT is not a very tough nut to crack, said Utkarsh adding that concentration and working regularly on the subjects besides paying attention to teachers was his success mantra.
He will be pursuing BA-LLB from NLSIU Bengaluru, his dream college.
Congratulating Utkarsh, Mothers Public School Principal, Poly Patnaik said, “He is an avid reader with oratorical prowess, confident with idealistic values, concerned and aware about social issues. These qualities have contributed to his success.”
Mother’s Public School works relentlessly towards the goal of giving its students a natural environment for achieving the best while being aware that there is nothing very natural about success. It is a hard journey of sweat and tears and the right guidance.
Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) published results of the exam on Thursday. The CLAT 2021 results have been released for both the 5-year LLB and LLM entrance exams conducted on July 23.
