Mumbai: A total of 90 per cent students passed the online final-year exams as Mumbai University announced the results on Tuesday. This led to a jump of 30 per cent in pass percentage. The exams were held on multiple-choice questionnaire format.
TYBA has a pass percentage of 94.70, TYBSc 97.85 per cent, BMS 97.58 per cent and BCom 95.79 per cent among others. The total pass percentage in BCom third year exam in 2019 was 60.31 per cent.
“Until last year, the pass percentages ranged from 60-70 per cent for most courses. There has been a significant spike in the performance of students this year. The university has announced results for major courses already, and the rest of the results will be declared in the next couple of days,” MU spokesperson Vinod Malale was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.
