National Law University Odisha Introduces Special Course On Bonded Labour
Bhubaneswar: The National Law University in Cuttack, Odisha has launched a course of bonded labour to help students develop a proper perspective about this social scourge and legal recourses available to deter it.

-Engage in discussions about rights and justice on labour laws.
-Develop a deeper understanding of the role of the judiciary in bonded labour cases and outcome of trails.
“At the university, we have always strived to motivate students to cater to the unmet legal needs of the marginalised communities and help them gain access to justice. This special course will not only infuse empathy and solidarity among our students but also provide them with an opportunity to understand and learn how the law works in action,” Vice-Chancellor Srikrishna Deva Rao said.
