Naval Ship Repair Yard Karwar To Recruit 145 Apprentices; Details Here

Candidates can apply till Dec 1, 2019; Exam likely in Feb 1st week

The Naval Ship Repair Yard in Karwar, Karnataka has invited applications for 145 apprentice positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at apprenticeship.gov.in on or before December 1, 2019. 

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates applying for the apprentice posts through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019, must have passed Class X/ SSLC or equivalent with a minimum 50 per cent marks and possess an ITI in relevant trade with minimum 65 per cent marks from an NCVT/SCVT recognised university/ institute as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must register and submit their applications here on or before December 01, 2019 or visit https://apprenticeship.gov.in/.

After the registration is over, candidates must take a printout of their submitted application and forward the same along with the documents listed in the notification to the “Office-in-charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, NSRY, Naval Base PO, Karwar, Karnataka -581308” on or before December 1 by Speed/Registered post.

Age criteria and fee:

The candidates applying for the vacancies must have completed 14 years of age as on April 01, 2019 and not be more than 21 years (General/ EWS).

Selection:
Candidates shall appear for a written / trade examination at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar in 1st week of February 20. The final date for written examination shall be intimated to eligible candidates on their registered email ID.

Written examination would be objective type based on class X syllabus. The questions will come from Mathematics, General Science and General Knowledge. Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of performance in the written examination.
