New Delhi: Following delays and several requests for postponement, the national medical entrance exam, NEET 2021, is finally over.
Over 16 lakh medical aspirants appeared for the exam in 2021 to secure an MBBS seat in medical colleges across India. Going by government data on medical education, there are nearly 84,000 MBBS seats in the country.
Following the exam, experts opined that the paper was difficult because of its pattern and time-consuming nature. This was for the first time, internal choices were given in the question paper.
The NEET 2021 had new elements like match the column and assertion-reasoning questions, quite similar to past years’ AIIMS entrance exam.
According to Delhi’s Vidyamandir Classes experts, all chapters were covered in the question paper in Chemistry. The paper had more numerical-related questions than theoretical ones.
In Physics, the numerical questions were lengthy. The paper was tough in comparison to last year according to subject experts.
Experts said that the Zoology paper was tougher than last year’s and was a lengthy one. Anyone with clear concepts though will find the paper easy.
