NEET PG Registrations For Second Round To Begin From June 3

New Delhi: The second round counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will begin from June 3. The process will be based on NEET postgraduate marks for the seats of Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS).

The process will conclude on June 9. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website and pay the fee before June 9 as the process will conclude on the same day.

The process was expected to be held in April, but the outbreak of coronavirus put it on hold.

After registration, it demands students to choose a course and institute as seat allotment will start from June 10 to June 11. As the board will release a final list on the next day, students have to report the status from June 12 to June 18.

NEET authorities will verify the documents of selected candidates. Students have to book a seat by fee submission. Also, vacant seats will be offered in round three of the counselling.

A total of 330 students have been selected by the Medical Council of India (MCC) to appear for the second round along with 8983 candidates who got their college allotment in the first round of counselling.

The MCC said in an official notice, “Candidates who have not been verified in the list are advised to immediately contact I.P University authorities as Round-2 is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2020. Such data of eligible candidates will be accepted by MCC from the University only till June 4, 2020.”
