NEET-UG 2020: NTA Changes Some Exam Centres, Cites COVID-19 Safety Measures

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the admit cards and changed the examination centres for some students for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) undergraduate (UG) level examination.

The step has been taken due to the implementation of COVID-19 safety measures. NEET-UG 2020 that will be held on September 13. Around 15 lakh candidates have enrolled for the exam.

According a notice by NTA on Thursday, the students whose exam centres have been changed were informed through SMS, e-mail, and calls. Hence, all these candidates will have to download their revised admit cards from the official website at ntaneet.nic.in

The notice said, “There is no change in the Centre Cities of the candidates; only Centres have been changed. The candidates concerned have already been informed by NTA through SMS and email. They are also being informed telephonically. Such candidates are advised to download their latest admit card available on the NEET website (https://ntaneet.nic.in) and report as per the details given in the latest Admit Card at the new Examination Centre for NEET (UG) – 2020 Examination on 13 September 2020.”

The NTA has also attached the list of the old and new centres with the notice. A total of 44 examination centres in various states including Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, etc have been changed.
