NEET UG/PG Counselling: MCC Directs States To Revise Dates

New Delhi: States were directed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to revise the dates of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG/PG) Counselling 2021 on Saturday, February 12.

According to the MCC, the Schedule of PG/ UG Counselling 2021 has got an extension following the directions of Courts in different matters pertaining to counselling recently. Candidates have been advised to visit the MCC’s official site — mcc.nic.in — for the official notice regarding the matter.

“In view of the above, MCC of DGHS is receiving representations from the State DMEs regarding revision of Schedule of State counselling since the schedule of All India UG/ PG Counselling being conducted by MCC of DGHS and that of state counselling are clashing,” read the MCC’s official notice.

The MCC has mentioned that the state counselling for each round should be conducted once All India Counselling for the respective round is completed by the MCC of DGHS.

It is advised that states may revise their schedule such that each round of state quota counselling is conducted after the All India Quota counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS as per the directions issued by the Supreme Court, the notice added.
