New Delhi: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2021) examination has been postponed. The registration deadline has also been deferred till July 15.
Candidates who are yet to apply for the examination can visit the official site of NEST, nestexam.in to apply. The postponement decision was taken after reviewing the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and related uncertainties. A new date will be announced later.
The application process began on February 24 as the entrance exam was scheduled for June 14, and the application last date was June 7.
The NEST is a mandatory test for students seeking admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), University of Mumbai. The examination is conducted in 90 cities spread across the country.
