Sambalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for a new campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Sambalpur on January 2.
Informing the media, Director of IIM-Sambalpur Mahadeo Jaiswal said the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone in a virtual function.
The Education Ministry also tweeted to inform of the program on Saturday.

On the occasion, Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State, MSME and Ministry of Animal Husbandry Pratap Sarangi, Sambalpur MP Nitesh Ganga Deb and MLA Jayanarayan Mishra will also participate in the virtual function.
