New Delhi: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released NIRF India Rankings 2021. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) had emerged as the best institute in India, bagging the top rank in National Institutional Rankings Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2021 for the third time in a row.
ISc Bengaluru has been ranked at second place in the overall ranking. IIT Bombay is third on the top universities list.
IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur have been placed in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Jawaharlal Nehru University and Banaras Hindu University have secured ninth and tenth ranks.
The NIRF India Ranking 2021 has been announced for eleven categories — Overall, University, Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), Law and Research Institutions.
