Haryana: In a good news from Haryana, the students who have passed class X from the Board of School Education Haryana can now enrol for class XI via Whatsapp in the state government schools. The students are only required to furnish the marksheets and other required documents. They reportedly don’t even need to submit the fees currently.
The method has been introduced keeping in mind the problems students, parents and schools are going through during the coronavirus pandemic.
Kanwar Pal, Haryana Education Minister, said, “As per this initiative of the State Government in view of the safety of students, the students will get admission to class XI while staying at their homes.”
This year the pass percentage of regular students in Haryana has been 64.59 per cent, while it was 57.39 per cent in 2019 and 51.15 per cent in 2018.
