NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for the CSIR UGC NET December session. The CSIR UGC NET will be conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025.
The exam will be conducted in two modes —English and Hindi. This will help applicants to prefer their used language. The city intimation slip from the examinations can be downloaded from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the CSIR UGC NET 2025 latest schedule, the exams which will start on February 28 with Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary sciences and chemical sciences, followed by the Life Sciences exam on March 1 and Physical Science exam on March 2, 2025.
The total duration of the exam is three hours and the exam pattern will lead to multiple-choice questions.
The City Intimation Slip and Admit Cards in respect of the exam will be displayed on the NTA website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in separately, a notice issued by the NTA said.

Documents to carry
- A printed copy of the admit card was downloaded from the NTA website.
- One passport-size photograph (matching the one uploaded in the online application) for affixing on the attendance sheet.
- An original, valid, and non-expired photo ID matching the name on the admit card. Accepted IDs include:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Driving Licence
- Passport

The CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 is a joint exam to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for excellence in Junior Research Fellowships and the appointment as Assistant Professors, along with the admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
