The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open NEET 2020 correction window on January 15, at the official website: www.ntaneet.nic.in . This is the chance for candidates to correct any mistakes made while filling up the application form.
Candidates should check all the details filled in the application form. The applicants are advised to remember that after the correction window closes, they will not be allowed to make any changes in the application forms.
Things to Check in the Application Form
Personal Details: All students are advised to check all the details entered in the application form including:
- Date of birth
- Spelling of their name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
The details must tally with the identification card used at the time of examination. Discrepancy in the details may prevent the candidates from appearing for the examination.
Choice of Examination Centre: Candidates can also check and update the choice of examination city and centre filled in the application form. Candidates can also change the choice of examination city during the correction window. However, candidates choosing one regional centre and the respective regional language as medium, cannot apply from other regions.
Norms Regarding 15 percent All India Quota
All students except the students of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir are automatically eligible for 15 percent All India Quota and are not required to submit any self-declaration form. Students belonging to union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are required to submit the self-declaration form.
Moreover, students who are eligible for the 15 per cent quota, are also required to share their intent to participate in the All India Quota. Apart from these, candidates are also advised to check their image and signature uploaded for any possible error.
