Rourkela: Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, on Thursday announced that it will be paying a remuneration of Rs 200 to the invigilators during the remote-proctored online examinations.
The decision was taken after Vice-Chancellor Chita Ranjan Tripathy made an announcement in this regard at an extraordinary board meeting of the university management.
The decision is applicable for online exams conducted for the intermediate semesters and final semester exams.
“…. the Board has been pleased to approve Rs 200 only per proctor per sitting for the final semester exit opportunity remote proctored online examination 2019-20 and other online examination of intermediate semesters,” informed the notification.
