Odisha SM&E Minister Begins ‘Paper Soap’ Campaign In Schools

Bhubaneswar: As another preventive step for the possible outbreak of coronavirus in schools,, the Minister of School and Mass Education (SME) Department launched a ‘Paper Soap Campaign’ on Thursday.
Odisha S&ME Minister Samir Ranjan Dash kicked off the campaign by distributing paper soap strips to children at Capital High School in Bhubaneswar.
The school children were provided two paper soap strips each and were advised to use it at regular intervals to wash their hands. “Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene would curb the spread of the fatal virus,” said Minister SR Dash.
The campaign has been launched for all schools of Bhubaneswar in collaboration with an NGO- AFFORD, which will distribute paper soap strips to the students. Besides, masks will also be given to the headmaster or headmistress of the schools. They will provide the masks if they notice any student suffering from cold and fever.
