Online Registration For KVPY 2021 Begins; Exam On This Date

New Delhi: The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) research fellowship scheme’s online registration window is now open. It will remain open till August 25.

Eligible candidates can submit applications on the official website kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The aptitude test for selection to the KVPY scheme will be conducted on November 7.

An application fee of Rs 1250 will be charged for General/OBC category candidates, while for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the fee is Rs 625.

The selection of students will be based on their performances in an aptitude test followed by an interview. A merit list will be prepared and further pruning will be done in the interview. Groups/committees at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will screen the selection process.

Aspirants would have the option of writing the aptitude test in both Hindi and English at various centres across the country.

Steps to register:

  1. Go to the official website and register yourself
  2. Fill the personal and academic details, choose the test centre and upload the photograph, signature and other certificates, as applicable
  3. Pay the application fees. Candidates must pay the application fee only at the KVPY application portal using a Credit Card, ATM-cum-Debit Card, UPI or Net Banking.

“No other means of payment will be accepted. Once the payment is successful and application is submitted, no refund of application fee will be done,” clarified the authorities.
