Bhubaneswar: The Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2021 — a scholarship programme for school students — will be organised by Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL).
The institute is not only providing 100 per cent scholarships to top scorers but is also providing them a trip to NASA with a parent. The scholarship is being conducted for students from classes VII-XII.
The students will also be given cash rewards in addition to the scholarship. As an additional benefit, students qualifying the talent hunt will also get the Meritnation school booster course free of cost. Meritnation is a subsidiary of AESL.
The talent hunt Examination will be held in both online and offline mode between December 4 and 12 across the country. ANTHE will be an hour-long exam and will be held between 10 am and 7 pm, whereas the offline exams will be conducted on December 5 and 12 in two shifts — 10:30 am to 11:30 am and 4 pm to 5 pm.
The Exams will be held at over 215 centres across the country.
ANTHE paper pattern
The test carries a total of 90 marks and comprises 35 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that will be based on grades and streams as per the aspirations of the students.
For the students of Classes VII to IX, the questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Mental Ability. For Class X students aspiring to be doctors, the exam covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mental Ability, while for engineering aspirants of the same class, it covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Mental Ability.
Accordingly, for Classes XI and XII, students aiming for NEET will be fielded questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, and engineering aspirants will face questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
