Bhubaneswar: Applications have been invited by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) from eligible candidates for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts under the Fisheries and ARD Department.
The OPSC will activate the registration link on June 18 and the candidates will be allowed to apply till July 16. The posts are temporary but likely to be permanent.
The registered applications can be submitted on the official website of OPSC between June 18 and July 23.
This recruitment drive is aimed at filling up 351 vacancies in the department. The selection of candidates will be based on written examination and Viva Voce Test.
Age limit: Candidates should be aged between 21 and 32 years as of January 1, 2021.
Educational qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science or its equivalent from any recognised university in India or abroad and should be registered under Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to pay ₹500 as application fee. Candidates from SC/ST and PwD ( whose permanent disability is 40% or more) category are exempted from the fee.
