The Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released the recruitment notification for filling-up 6060 Posts of Trade Apprentices in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different states across India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for apprenticeship through the official website of OFB. Submission of Online Applications begins from January 10, 2020. Last date for applying is February 09, 2020.

Trade Apprentice Total Vacancies is 6060, in the following states –
Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal
Age Limit
The applicants must be between 15 to 24 years as on 09.02.2020. Upper age relaxation is as per government norms. Candidates can check the detailed information available in the official notification.
Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.19)
· For Non-ITI Category – Should have Passed Class X or equivalent as on date of notification for applying with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and with 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.
· For ITI Category – Should have passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 plus passed Class X or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate / Class X std and ITI).
Selection Process – Selection will be done on the basis of:
· Merit list- The Merit List will be prepared separately for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories.
· Standard of Physical Fitness
· Medical Examination

· Application Fee is Rs.100/-
· No Application Fee is to be paid by SC/ST/PwD/Women/transgender candidates. Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of online application process.
